How to get promoted - Strategies for advancing to the next level
My work with employees over the years has greatly benefited me for one main reason. It has allowed me to participate in small but calculated ways, to guide people to higher
levels of personal growth and satisfaction, while helping them discover their skills, talents, interests, natural abilities and reconnect with them.
I usually participate in helping them with their thinking, to increase clarity, while providing them with guidance on how to move together and progress in their chosen field and
with a specific goal.
What I've found over time is that most people don't progress or move toward their goals for two main reasons:
1. Not having a strategy or plan.
2. Lack of special skills
As much as I can give this world of people a process, either through apprenticeship or business coaching, to start moving away from their past experiences, we start to move
toward progress. Watching people advance, through regular feedback sessions, allows me to "connect" with them and continue to serve and benefit them.
For me, this is very important, as it is the beginning of the creation and re-establishment of student success, faith thinking, and self-esteem. Few of the decision makers in
American companies or in the entrepreneurship market will catch you and vote for you and direct you to a higher level of responsibility without having a track record of
successful accomplishments and following them around you.
How to get promoted
As a society, we are still distinguished by merit. This means that candidates have to stand out from the sea of employees and other employers by being the most qualified and
ready candidate out of the crowd. Raise your hand and take a stand or make a recommendation, however unpopular, as these behaviors help demonstrate your interest in leadership
and problem solving and a higher level of involvement in the work or organization.
Your comments should be well thought out, fully explored, and make sense in the context of the current business model of the company or organization. Remember, you are not
trying to initiate a "palace rebellion". Another lesson to note is networking with the organization's new star or rising entrepreneur; Someone who works in your space and knows
better than you, and is seen by others as important and important to the organization.
It is important that you find yourself and contact someone who knows more than you do, has more responsibility than you, or is currently doing the task you want to accomplish.
Then, through the use of adorable personality, personal charm, and originality, approach this person for personal help and guidance. You should also bear in mind that the mentor
you choose may not have the time, experience, or willingness to serve in this role at this time, so be patient and be prepared for the delay in moving forward with this
person.
Find other people in the organization who might be the right mentor for you. Don't limit your search. I'll be covering some of the most important and most relevant aspects of
